Teddy, Jarrod, Claire and I got a group pet.
It's a hamster and his slash her name is Occupied.
I wanted to name him Prada but...nobody ever listens to me anymore.

Yesterday was the second time I've been to church in the last 2 months and
it was amazing.
I forgot how much i love debating theology and philosophy.
It's kind of the spiritual equivalent of going to the gym..kind of painful
but completely worth it in the long run.

Here's a funny little anticdote for you

today i woke up and thought "i dont want to go to school today, I'm going to fake sick"
so i did.

the non ver badum abridged version (oxymoron?) of my morning:

me: mom, i need to say home i have a sore throat
mom: you can't miss school
me:but im sick
mom: no we're sending you to the doctor
me:fine

one hour later at the doctors office:
me:boohoo i feel soo sick and my throat's soo itchy <100% whining>
doctor:fine we'll do some tests
me:gag ( that was the sound of them shoving a popsicle stick down my throat )
doctor: well, we have your results and youre strep positive. You'll need to stay home for two days

me:( staring blankly in shock )

I was faking it!!!! and now i have flipping strep throat, talk about karma.
